About Us
Melbourne Camroad began with a simple dream — my wife had always wanted a motorhome. After exploring our options, I was introduced to the Toyota Camroad models from Japan. Impressed by their build quality and suitability for Australian roads, I imported one to try. The enthusiastic response from fellow travellers sparked an idea, and what began as a personal project quickly evolved into a growing business.
With over 20 years of experience in the motor industry including importing niche Japanese sports cars I now specialise in sourcing and delivering high-quality Toyota Camroad motorhomes to like-minded adventurers.
What sets us apart is our trusted partnership on the ground in Japan. A fellow Australian expat, now based there, personally hand-picks and inspects every vehicle before purchase. This ensures we only bring in the best examples, well-maintained and carefully selected for Australian conditions.
